Should Peyton Manning “Tebow” as a Sign of Respect to the Man he Usurped

(chrisTwire Sports)—Last year something miraculous happened in Colorado, the last place Denver Broncos promoted Timothy Tebow to quarterback. Not only did they turn things around but they made it to the second round of the playoffs beating Big Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburg Steelers with an amazing first down pass for a touchdown in overtime.|

Tebow seemed to win in dramatic fashion. And in game after game created Hollywood type drama worthy of an Indiana Jones movie. Fans were thrilled, the nation was abuzz. Kids everywhere were putting away their video games and going outside again. Playground arguments of “I’m Tim Tebow, no I am Tebow” were heard from coast to coast.

That was not enough. Even though Tebow is a winner and always have been, critics didn’t like him. They said he isn’t good enough. His own teammates stood by his side. “Tim makes me want to be a better player, he makes all of us think we can win, so we do” said several Denver Broncos last year.

Now, the new axis of Evil… John Elway, Atheists, and Peyton manning has disrespectfully kicked Tim Tebow out of Denver. However, now they have to deal with the realities of the situation. Denver now has a quarterback making 90+ million dollars in guaranteed money who has had four neck surgeries in the last year. He hasn’t played a game of football in over a year. Elway has no backup in case Manning can’t play. Not to mention Manning’s production was already on the decline before the injuries. Worst of all, because Denver made it to the playoffs last year and knocked off a title contender after it got there, anything less will be a failure. Elway and manning have set themselves up in the unenviable position where anything but perfection next year will be a complete an utter failure.

What Can Manning and Elway do to get out of this hole they dug themselves?

Manning and Elway must fix this before it gets out of control. We have devised a three step plan to get the Broncos back in their fans and the nations favor.

1. Elway and Manning must Tebow. They must do it now, and often. They must commit to it, both of them need to do it inside and outside of games and in public.
2. Issue a formal and public apology to Christian America. Renounce atheism. Also apologize to Timothy and admit this has been a giant mistake.
3. Denver needs to put a cross on its uniforms for this season. Hopefully they will receive forgiveness and they will have a decent year.

Yesterday, 49 year old Caucasian warrior Jamie Moyer pitched 4 perfect innings for the Colorado Rockies in spring training Ball. The pitching performance resulted in a 7-0 shutout over the San Francisco Giants. Moyer has made a very successful 24 year career of using his brain to outsmart Black and Hispanic batters, leaving them furrowing their brow in a vain attempt to try to adjust to his pitching.
Moyer was part of the 2001 Seattle Mariners team that went on to 116 victories, the most in baseball history. He won 20 Games that year. In 2008, he won a world series with the Philadelphia Phillies. A tip of the cap to mister Moyer, keep doing what you love as long as you can.
