Junior Seau’s Brain To be Studied, NFL Officials Worry

Only days have passed since the magnificent sportsman and gentleman off the field, Junior Seau, too his life. Now reports that Junior Seau’s brain to be studied are beginning to surface. The concern is that the trauma inflicted upon Junior Seau through years of NFL play may have contributed to possible depression in later life.

Multiple NFL players have come out to support the notion that the NFL players are six times more likely to commit suicide than other people. Such startling statistics beg the question why and one possible reason, which many players are now taking up suit to address, is that trauma to the head may contribute to future depression. The NFL may be tasked with doing an official study into the issue.

Junior Seau retired from the NFL after an impressive 20-year-career. He was drafted in 1990, retired in 2010 and then was found dead from self-inflicted from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.
