KS TV Stabbing Shocks Topeka WIBW
A Topeka KS tv stabbing has left the community shocked after a homeless man ran into WIBW studios in an apparent rage and stabbed two men. ChristWire.net reports:
Topeka authorities have confirmed two salesman at local WIBW-TV were injured when a man wielding a knife stabbed them after breaking into the facility.
Authorities have purportedly identified the man as Ray Miles, a homeless man. Miles was tackled by 8 employees and held down until police arrived.
Kristen Veverka, spokesperson for the Topeka police, told the AP that the stabbing incident happened after Miles spoke to the news director for WIBW on a lobby phone. Miles apparently wanted to pitch his story about the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) mishandling his case. Miles allegedly used a phone in the lobby of WIBW to make the phone call.
