Why Do Atheists Choose to Be, If They Know They’ll Burn in Hell?
Atheists claim to be people of science, but fail to make mathematically sound decisions. Any logical person would take 100% odds over 50/50 odds, correct? So if atheists understand that by their standards, they have a 50% chance of being wrong by hating God, the Bible, America and Christians, then why don’t they worship God and have a 100% chance at eternal life in heaven?
Seriously, how thick-headed does a person have to be to ‘want’ to take a chance of burning in hell? In hell, it is scary. The voices of tormented souls who have had their teeth gnashed and intestines reverse ravaged with spiky hot pikes for 6,000 years sound like a heavenly chorus when ran against the laughing, mocking voice of Satan.
If you have ever put your hand in fire, or perhaps scorched yourself on a hot stove or iron, you know the body instantly flinches and you move away! But in hell, the fire will chase you, engulf you and sear your skin for all time! Just when you think it can’t get worse, your skin and muscles will grow back and your nerve endings will feel every bit of heat that burns hotter than the Earth’s core! Forever!

Atheists, you have a 100% chance of burning in hell, if you don’t give your life unto God. All you need to do is bow down before He who created you, live a Christian life and apologize for any sins you have committed. It is simple, it is logical, it is rational. Make the choice that gives you a chance for eternal life, not eternal torment.

You might want to clarify this logic. It makes no sense. Also, atheists don’t claim to hate god or christians, or even america. They claim not to believe in a god or pantheon of gods.

Because you of course have seen this personally, while not using hallucinatory substances. Also, reverse ravaging would be the equivalent of repairing or making better. I wouldn’t mind that at all.

May I see the source for that statistic? Not to nitpick, but I’d really like to see how they figured that out. The bible doesn’t count, as they had no way of knowing, otherwise they would have used that over and over and over again. But there aren’t any examples. The only real example we (humanity) have comes from the admittedly fictional play Inferno.
Also, as an atheist, I’d have the excuse of “why didn’t you show me a concrete sign of your existence? It would have been easy to prove both your existence and if you were truly worthy of worship, and you sat around letting the Middle East go to hell, the Jewish (your chosen people) nation get ravaged and threatened constantly, and instead of providing us with natural cures to diseases, you make diseases incurable.” God doesn’t seem very worthy of worship, not in part due to his/her/its nonexistence.
Also, guys, seriously, fix your website. It’s inefficient beyond reason. You just need to start from scratch and make sure it runs well on your own computers.

well, that certainly is a conundrum. i have been through the bible many times (mostly for laughs and showing Jehovah’s witnesses that they are utterly wrong in their own beliefs) and never once have i seen any mention of fire in hell.

here’s another thing for Christians to chew on. god has not yet created heaven and hell. it says that on jesus’ second coming, god will split the earth into 2 places, one for worshipers and one for sinners. the 2 areas do not yet exist. so how could josh have sent that letter? i’m kind of assuming that he was in hell at the time, so correct me if i’m wrong, please.
one last thing: we athiests take “50/50% chances” of god not existing because we believe that there is a 100% chance of him being imaginary. we do not want to throw our lives away because a book that is 2000 years old told us so.
