<chrisTwire> Muslim-Americans in Michigan have called for “deterrent legal measures” to fight what they call “Islamophobia” in the wake of the video “Innocence of Muslims” that exploded into Muslim Rage in the savage Middle East recently. “There is a need for deterrent legal measures against those individuals or groups that want to damage relations between people, spread hate and incite violence,” Osama Siblani, Publisher of The Arab American News said in a statement. “It is a need that Americans should seriously consider.

Okay Osama Siblani, as an American I have considered your proposal and my answer is… “No.” Why would any American seek to pass any laws that prohibited speech in this country? The U.S. is not in the dark ages like Islam. Something such as the “Innocence of Muslims” video caused Muslim people living in Muslim nations to riot, attack our foreign embassy and murder people of both Christian and Muslim faiths.
Islam is a back-water society still living in the dark ages at the time the holy text of the Qur’an was penned. Muslims have kept up with most changes in the world, certainly in trade, technology and education. Yet the religion of Islam, which I constantly hear from my Muslim readers is a “religion of peace” has not progressed beyond where it was thousands of years ago.
Two quick points. First the world is full of many faiths and beliefs. All are welcome to practice their faiths in the US without government interference. The reason is because religious law and civil law in the U.S. are separate. In Islam that is not true. And two, with democracy all must be able to speak freely of their opinions and ideas regardless of how racists, or ignorant they maybe. It is the most offensive of speech that must be protected by law.
Here in America we understand the physical realities of the world around us much better than the uneducated ill-bred Muslim. For example we know that if you point a loaded gun at someone and fire it, the projectile (bullet) can cause them serious injury or death. Why? Because the projectile is a physical object designed to do exactly that. Unlike words which are not physical objects, we know they can sting one’s pride but will not physically cause harm, injury or death to anyone.
THIS IS THE FACE OF TERROR!
Siblani makes the argument that “Islamophobia” is so bad in the U.S. that laws should be passed to restrict speech. Actually what Siblani describes is better defined as “Islamo-paranoia” of Americans. Some asshole posted an offensive video to YouTube, which anyone anywhere can do, and suddenly Muslims in the U.S. are panicked by Islamo-paranoia.
Hey Muslims!!! We know the video was crap, but we didn’t go around killing people and attacking anybody’s embassy. In fact that day in the U.S. passed like any other for Americans. Meanwhile Muslims are rioting, fighting, murdering and burning flags. The irony is for any Muslim to ask about restricting free speech in the US, which by-the-by is highly offensive to all Americans, is very much the “pot calling the kettle black.”

The religiously primitive Muslim people are the most brutal and violent racist society in the world. Islam is 2,000 years behind the rest of us, not in technology, but in religion, society and culture. So here’s my idea which I am willing to share with the entire Muslim world and for Mr. Osama Siblani.
You guys (Islam) figure out a way to overcome the literal translation of the Qur’an to murder all infidels in order to have your own “Muslim’s Only Club” here on planet earth and quit taking yourselves and your antiquated religion so seriously, then maybe assholes won’t make offensive videos about what assholes the Muslim people are. Problem solved.
I’d like to have a conversation with Mr. Osama Siblani one day so that I could ask some questions I have pondered in my mind about the Muslim faith, culture and people. Such as… What kind of sick twisted deviant would put women and children in harm’s way; let alone on a hot battlefield? What kind of country and people start training their children from kindergarten on to be killing machines?
What sort of human beings are so desperate and have so little regard for other-than Muslim human life that they put their young on the frontline of a war? What kind of society straps a bomb to their children and blows them up in order to murder non-combatants? And how can a “religion of peace” also practice ethnic cleansing? Well I discovered the Qur’an has all these answers and more.

I have repeatedly been told Islam is a religion of peace. But according to the Qur’an the world rightfully belongs to Islam and none others. And to protect this ludicrous notion the Qur’an says…
“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.” (8:12)
“Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should have the upper hand for Allah is with you.” (47:34)

“Slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution of Muslims is worse than slaughter of non-believers… fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah.” (2:191)
“Muhammad is the messenger of “Allah. And those with him are ruthless against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves.” (48:29)

Just from these few passages anyone can see Allah as he really is. How can Islam be a religion of peace? Islam is an archaic warrior culture, whose so-called “God” commands them to “cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve” and to “strike off their heads.”
“Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace.” Certainly not, crying for peace in such a primitive society when “Allah is with you,” is not tolerated. Allah will not have peace until every last infidel is dead, and this is a Muslim’s Only World.
The next time “Muslim Rage” explodes in the Middle East will anyone be surprised? After all, that’s how Islam has been for thousands of years. This is a Muslim problem and Muslims must overcome the fact that they are not alone on this planet before the civilized world can take Islam seriously.

Millenium – “Jesus Camp it’s worst than Taliban itself .” I have to admit Jesus Camp was pretty bad, but I don’t think anyone associated with the movie went out and murdered innocence non-combats. Unlike the Taliban who have no problem with slaughtering mass numbers or people in the name of their God.

Islamo-paranoia may create islamophobia.It´s the case in France, Germany and pretty much everywhere they go and fail to accept that there are cultures on this planet that have nothing in the least to do with Islam.
They are quick to call blasphemy but ever so reluctant to realize not everybody believes in Allah, or in any God for that matter.
In the words of author Salman Rushdie: It is one thing to attack ideas, another to attack a human being.

HB – What’s up? I like your comment because you mention the relations between the Muslim’s now living in Franch & Germany, who like the Muslims here in the US typically hang with their own people. They project hostility and are suspicious of Americans. They show no interest in the the people, culture and customs of the people where they move. They do not participate in their local communities and seem to be uncomfortable with the idea of getting to know people outside of their religion.
As a result Americans feel most Muslim are unfriendly, stand-offish and have no desire to get to know people outside their faith. They are quick to yell blasphemy and fail to understand that separation of church and state and freedom of speech means we have no blasphemy laws within civil law in the US.

Gee, I wonder why. Could it have something to do with the fact that many Americans will look at them and think that they are hostile and suspicious? You reap what you sow, if you want to kill someone because of their religion, then others of that religion are going to want to kill you.

So you’ve spoken to every single Muslim person on the face of the planet and you’ve come to this conclusion, or did you speak out of your ass once again?

No, it’s the other way around, as a result of Americans having negative thoughts about Muslims, they’ve become more hostile and self-defensive because people like you want to lambast them for every single thing they do and accuse them of whatever the fuck you think they’re guilty of when the truth is the exact opposite.

People like you get pissed off about other religions and want them dead, or you get pissed off about the existence of atheists, or you decide to just blame your problems on people of other religion/atheists. Really, there isn’t much of a difference when it comes to you and violent Muslims.

Americans are right to be aware of the serious threat created by allowing Islamic immigration. In the UK whole areas have been taken over by Islamics and persecution of non-muslims is taking place in many areas. Saudi-Arabia(who will not allow any Christian place of worship or bible into the country)is sending money all over to build Mosques so that this poisonous religion can spread its tentacles still further.
If the USA has any real sense they will start deporting Muslims as soon as possible and not allow further immigration. Its a pity that you have a closet Muslim as President. Its Obvious that Obama supports this horrible cult.

It is sometimes hard to tell what is really meant from what is sarcastically said.
Mosques in christian environments are indeed nothing new, just as much as the untinkable, notably a christian church in a muslim environment.
Here comes the acceptance and tolerance of christians into play for some.For others, it is pure politics.
Fact is, with not all muslims being bad,many are hostile and suspicious of and toward the culture they immigrate to.
Fact is also, Christians went to all continents wanting to spread the word of Jesus to people who worshipped deities not even loosely related to Jesus.
In a globalized and sometimes as “babylonized” perceived world, modern social dynamics play a more hefty role than actual beliefs in deities and people tend to forget that.The more clingy they are to the old ways, the more they tend to forget that. And many muslims are clingy to the old ways.If more muslims then christians are clingy to the old ways is pure speculation at this point.
However, jokes of the pope leading a covent of rapists are made every day.Where are the christian suicide-bombers?
If christianity does not need bombers to get it´s way is speculation as well, i still think, in these times, social dynamics could be more explanatory in practice than beliefs in deities in theory.
But all that is speculation.
