A new trending video on social media seems to show a plane hovering in the air over a bridge. It is being called a ‘glitch in the matrix’ but can actually be explained away quiete easily with science.
The video is taken from a moving object in flight, capturing the airplane seeminglyy in a hover. While the plane may be caught in a strong headwind, the effect itself is more to do with viewing angles from a stationary subject watching an object move. Examples of this would be when driving down the street, trees in the distance look like they move slowly but objects nearby the road appear to zoom by closer to the speed of the subject (perhaps riding in a car).
